HOW, do you get a SERVICE manual for a 1962 MERC? OR can I use a '65??? Will a OWNERS Manual do me justice?? AM I CRAZY?

Did you try to Google for a manual? Type in 1962 mercury service manual, and pick the link that applys. I would try to find the one that covers your year. I learned the hard way that info from any other type is not the same, because of up grades through the years from the factory...
