Everybody ragged on Bubba Wallace for unplugging in the middle of an iRace and complained;

Bubba Wallace “I lost a sponsor because of iRacing”

Kyle Larson “hold my beer”

Larson isn't much of an example for Nascar's Driving For Diversity program which paved the way for him. His apology on Twitter didn't work, he's lost everything.

Well Kyle no longer has a ride, Chip cut him loose today and he is suspended indefinitely from Nascar. I wish I would have had a chance like he did when I was young, but talk about stupid....

:eek:

I don't know if because it was an "unsanctioned" race (not televised) and he was just "goofing around" with friends he thought it didn't matter, but when in the public eye you are "on duty" 24/7. That was stupid on his part and he is paying a huge price for his stupidity, and deservedly so.

According to the website tracking celebrity net worth, he earned $9M from June 2018-19 and has a net worth of $12M. Hopefully he saved a bunch of it. He'll get another job (maybe not as a driver) in a few years. As much as it sickens me, the NFL will keep hiring guys that slug their wives. Larson will get hired once enough time has passed.

A few years ago, somebody at my wife's company called on our drive down to Bristol. He hooked us up with an VP with Love's travel plaza. That got us into Chris Buescher's pit, in his hauler, and up to a luxury box for a meet-and-greet. This was either his rookie or second season, can't remember. At the end, I stood around shooting the breeze with Chris. At one point I asked what it's like having to shake hands, be on camera, etc. He told me that NASCAR puts them through a lot of courses aimed at helping young drivers handle the celebrity, the fame, and learn to do the right things. Obviously, it's up to the individual to make use of the tools provided to them.

It looks like Kyle just got a failing grade. However, there's no question that that word is a part of his typical speech. It doesn't flow out unless it is natural.

Just a temporary suspension till he does his sensitivity training..... Tony Stewart all ready talking to him. Gannassi was fixing to release him anyway due to money issues... As soon as it all dies down he will be back in a car

MT already new the answer when he started the thead. I would have been very offended while racing at that level and had been called a kraught, or Larson being called a chink....I just donn't think it carries as much weight. JMHO

I knew he had been suspended, but I didn't know what happened to cause that action.

He just quit racing just does not know it, he is done no sponsors no seat in a car.

Yep he's done, finished, finito, morto as a race car driver. Young too. That's even worse than being called out by the Me Too movement. There is no excuse for his behavior, none, nienti, nine, niema, nada, nix. If he is comfortable enough to use a racial slur on a radio how many times does he say it under normal conditions. Absolutely no excuse. Good riddance to him. Now he has to get a job, if someone will hire him. From the penthouse to the out house.

Actually they don't. For Dog fighting, yes, spanking your toddler, yes, weapons offences yes, multiple drug charges, yes. But not for domestic abuse. I might be wrong, I was wrong once but can't find anywhere that a domestic abuser came back to play. The NFL has many things wrong with it but they take domestic and racial abuse very seriously, very, very seriously.

Greg Hardy for one with the Cowboys. That's the one that I had in mind when typing. Not sure if there are more.

Sounds like Matt Kenseth gets a ride now that Larson is out of a seat.

Matt's a great kid. used to be sponsored by Sannis Brothers (Lee and Larry) and Barril engines out of Green Bay. He raced many of the small tracks along side my buddy Ryan and his late brother..
