What Switch For Choke?

Just replaced the choke switch on the boat and after a few uses its burnt out again. What amp switch should I be using? not sure on the amps on the old one I just matched the new one up with the existing one. All the switches I've ever seen have been push button and this is a toggle not sure if its correct.
