what Strendrive do i have

what model drive is this so i can find a manual for it. the boat is 1980 and it says OMC 800 on the top. or any idea where i can find the model number, thanks

Uhhh . . . like dude . . . uh . . . it's an OMC 800 . . . aka a "stringer" drive because the main mounts are to the stringers, not the transom.

Sorry to say it is "physically challenged", but there are many here that can help you with it. Be ready for some haters though ;) I had a 400 which is basically the same thing. There are some cool things about them, but they have not been made since the mid-80s so parts are a challenge, and there are some inherent problem areas.

your lower unit is a 1982-85 full mechanical shift (as determined by the rectangular hole behind the 6 idle relief holes where a zinc anode would go but I can't tell if there is one in there in those low res pics)
Mechanical shift lower on a 1980 is a mismatch of parts.
Was it always very difficult to get out of gear into neutral? .
