I have a Johnson seahorse model MO-12A Ser # C482776. It is sick snd I would like to know if I can get a manual etc...<br />After difficulty starting it runs for 100 yds and dies out. doesn't idle either. Any help would be appreciated.
<br /><br />Closest I can come is MQ-12 which is a 1966 9-1/2Hp. They made a zillion of those and there are a lot still out there. Check at your public library. Many have aftermarket service manuals. Check all that pertain to your motor to see which you like best. Then check in the iboats Marine MegaMall and you'll probably find it. If you're going to service it yourself, having a manual is very helpful.
