What socket do I need?

Trying to remove that bolt at the end of the transome that is resesed in. It looks like a 12 point start. Hard to describe where it is, but it's the only bolt a socket won't fit on.

If you are referring to the bolt that holds the trim tab on, above the prop. Quite often they require a 7/16" 12-pt socket.

Add also, 1973 Merc 650. 12 pt. 7/16" socket is the ticket!
