what size prop for fast out of hole

I have a 15ft. bass boat with a 65hp mercury, It is slow out of the hole but good on top speed, what size of prop will get me better out of hole and also keep my top speed, my friend has about the same boat with a 48 johnson and he's fast out of the hole and just as fast on top, thanks guys.

Yep, we need #s!!!<br /><br />Where is your ventilation plate in refference to the bottom of the boat, What are your RPMs at WOT, Do you have power trim? What prop do you have now, diameter and pitch, aluminum or stainless?
