I'm replacing fuel lines on a 1978 Evinrude 175. What size fuel line should I use from the tank to the motor? Also for the hoses inside the motor between the fuel pumps, carburetors, etc?

Use a 3/8" Fuel Line to the Motor. As far as the other lines, I'm not sure what you have. If the old ones are still on there, take them off and have them sized to fit at your local Marine Shop.

Agreed.

If you're keeping the original tank (and other fuel line fittings) you should stay with the origianl dimension to make things fit. Goes for the external fuel lines as for the internal.

Outboard manufacturers use different sizes for different motors so just looking for 'Evinrude' won't get you right.

Changed fuel lines and the motor starts up great now. Primer bulb finally stays hard too. Didn't help my other problems, but at least this is better.
