what should compression be on a 1985 v6 150

I can not find specs for compression. Im looking on the online manual. Is the merc manual the same for mariner. My mariner 150 runs great when cold, when engine warms up looses power, still cranks ildes great, just not enough power to plane, will run great till you stop, then you have to let cool. Could this be low compression.

V6 Merc/Mariner same same. anything 115 plus is ok. Anything less, might need some attention. Need to be like said within a few lbs of each other. A KNOWN good guage is a must. Not your WalMart special................
