What rope to replace pull cord?

The ten year old pull cord of my 8HP Suzuki snapped yesterday.<br /><br />What kind of rope should I use to replace it? I guess I need something that is very resistant to abraison and maybe heat. Would some sort of light kevlar sailing line suffice (spectra or something like that)?<br /><br />James

hi! i have suksessfully used a good flag line.. but there is also spesial made pullrope.. try a place who has chain-saws and lawnmowers.. keep em running!
