What plugs do I use in a '77 johnson 140hp?

HELP!,<br />Hi, I need some help on what plugs to use on my 1977 140hp johnson. it has L77CJ4's in it but the book says use UL77V's I was also given some QUL77V???? What should I use and what the diffrence? I have no idea?<br />Thanks Dave

Hi Lake_time, The best answer is what the manufacturer reccommends with the exception of the "Q" Rating. The UL77V is the correct plug. The "Q" letter indicates that plug is a supressor plug. A supressor plug eliminates RFI (radio frequency interference) which could give you false reading in various navigation equipment and static in radio's. A "Q" plug is designed to do that without any lose of ignition performance.
