What Oil do people use for 4.3L?

I looked at the manual, though none of the local auto stores have 20w-40 that the manual suggests. I really don't want to drive all the way out to West Marine.

Just do a thread search here in this forum. You'll find plenty of people who are asking the same question!

If you don't want to use what the manufacturer suggests, use anything you want. It's all been tried.
