I'm currently hunting for a motor for my RIB. Gotta be a longshaft so I can't use my current 50hp merc on it (wish I could-it's wonderful-but cutting the transom down isnt really an option as a s/s will be too close to the water at rest.<br /><br />Question is, what do I look for? Ideally I'd like a power trim/tilt 50hp but at a push a prop-rated 40 will do. It has to clamp onto the transom as well as bolt (personal preference) and preferably be 80's or early 90's due to budget.<br /><br />Suggestions please?
