What model/YR car engine crosses to 1984 2.5L?

Anyone know the GM car model and year that used the engine in my 1984 2.5L (153in3) 120hp in-line 4? SN is 6734398.

It's a tractor motor. Also widely used in industrial compressors and generators. I believe there were a few car models that used them in the 60s, but they were in no 80s cars that I know of. You're exTREEMly unlikely to find one in a boneyard.

1962 thru 1969 ChevyII/Nova. Some Jeeps 1967-1971.<br />You will need to have hardened seats installed in the head for unleaded gas if you find one of those relics.

NAPA's MPC-8 is the most recent iteration of their marine parts catalog, and will have the exact pieces for your application. I would have thought that the revelation that none of the marine motors produced in the last couple of decades has had any automotive application would have been made by the time someone had posted nearly two hundred times.....
