What model / year outboard is this?

I recently bought an older boat with a Mercury outboard that now needs a starter solenoid, the problem is I don't know what model it is or the horsepower, or the year it was manufactured. It's a V-6, carbureted engine and the serial # on the lower unit is 6455274. The cowling says Black Max, oil injected, 175 hp but according to the charts I've seen, Mercury didn't make a 175 hp engine with that serial #. Can anyone out there help me out with some information on what I have? Thanks.

That s/n comes up as:

MERCURY - (150 H.P. (1984 ))
Serial No: 06455274 Model No: 1150724

The service manual you require is P/N: 90-976583. I don't see any on ebay at the moment but you should keep an eye out for one.

Thanks very much, now I should be able to get the starter solenoid I need. Since the cowling is obviously not the original, do you know where I could find a picture of what it should look like? Thanks
