Just went and checked it again and that is the correct serial number. The outside has a 7.5 decal on it and the Mercury decals are black and brown/tan.

The serial number needs to be preceded by a "0" 0A171250 The model # is 1007205. Not sure of the year, I can look when I get to the shop.

Brown and tan decals would indicate c.1985 - 1986 era... <br />- Scott
