What manual?

I have two vintage motors. A 1960 evinrude lark 3 40hp and a 1964 90hp Johnson meteor. I would like to buy a manual that covers both motors, however, I may be changing the shaft from short to long on the Johnson. My queston is, will a manual that covers both engines, be detailed enough to swap the shaft on the johnson, or am I better off trying to find manuals for each specific motor? I am trying to save bucks, but dont want to come up short on info because I bought one book for two motors!
Thank you!

Re: What manual?

As far as I know, only the Clymer's covers both engine since they're so different. Seloc covers them in different books. I have little experience with that particular Clymer's, but I have to say what little I did have wasn't good.
I've heard some people say that the ABOS multi-manual is much better than either of those. I see one on ebay now:
1983 ABOS 30hp and up
I've never seen one, so hopefully someone can confirm this.
