what manual do i want?

I got a 1981 johnson 115 hp V4 and i am rebuilding it i have the pistons ring and all in the mail, but when i get it i want to make sure i do this right so im looking for the book, i already have a clymer one i think and it doesnt tell me much, im lookin for something that has more info, mainly on rebuilding a motor, and torque specs.<br /><br />Thanks alot<br /><br />Dave

If you can locate one, Koltar, even at the library, get a Johnson/Evinrude factory shop manual.<br /><br />Red sky at night. . .<br />JB :)

The Seloc Johnson/Evinrude repair manual that I have for 1973-1991 60 to 235 hp has torque specs in the appendix. Seloc part #010-1(1308).

The ISBN 0-89287-555-0 Clymer has all of the specs, but is lean in details, if you need more you will have to have a factory manual.
