What makes/models are there in 24’ cuddy cruisers?

Im having trouble finding a boat. I’m looking for a 24 foot Cuddy Cabin type of boat (I believe it’s called a cruiser but I’m unsure). I attached a picture so you know what I’m talking about.
Searching on Craigslist is very slow, although it’s nice that you can filter by LOA.
Facebook Market place is good but there’s no LOA filter so I end up skimming through literally every boat in a given area until I see a 24’ foot cuddy and they’re few and far between.
Im thinking if I learn all the different makes and models that are made in a 24’ cuddy I can just search them and hopefully expedite my search.
Side note: I would settle for a 23 foot also but the reason I’m specifically looking for a 24 footer is because that’s the biggest boat I am able to get for my storage. And I see a lot of people who are selling 19/20/21 foot boats who say they’re selling because they want something bigger. I figure I’d buy as big as I can in hopes I don’t grow out of it as fast.

An issue our going to run into is over all length. Some earlier years a 24 footer was 24 feet counting the swim deck. Later years and other boats the length was the boat and the swim deck is extra.

Exp: My 27 Formula is 28' 3" long total
My 232 Rinker (23.6) is 23' 6" long total

The Maxum in the pick I think is a 2400 scr and should be 24 feet long

Four Winns, Chaparral, Cobalt, Chris Craft, Sea Ray, Crownline, Bayliner, Maxum, Reinell, to name a few, pretty much all build or have built a 24' cuddy. Google one of these brands, follow with "24' cuddy", and search thru what comes up, and make note of the boat's model numbers. Example, I had an '03 Chaparral 260 ssi bowrider, the exact same boat in a cuddy version is the 265 ssi... knowing the right model numbers will help with local searches...

how far back in history do you want to go?

the boat in my sig is considered a 24' (26' with swim platform)

many many brands of boats had cuddies

i would search for as new as you can afford....then stretch your budget and go a tad newer.

as far as storage, I needed a 30' storage unit for my boat. I could have gotten a slightly larger boat in there with a folding tongue.

You looking new or used? If new, practically every major boat builder has a CC that you're looking for. If used, your limited to your market area unless you want to travel outside of your area.

Hi
before even looking at the picture you sent there..despite my snobbish boat brand taste...a friend recently bought a maxum 2400 sc (your picture or if not it’s a 2300 sc). I was amazed at how well it performed and also at its sea keeping for a relatively cheap brand. Should also tell you that he gets charged for 26ft of marina mooring space with the bathing platform and overall length.

This is basically what I’ve been doing.. I go to nadaguides and search different manufacturers and see what they have for 24’ cuddy’s. The tough part is that they might not make it one year but they do the next. So I usually look through year 2000, then 2005 just to get a general idea. Then write down what I find.
Also after the million boats I’ve skimmed through online I’m starting to learn all the popular names who make cuddy’s.

After my searches the Maxum 2300 sc is one of my favorites so far, from what I’ve seen.

Honestly. I never gave them a second thought previously. Liked the look of them but assumed them to be probably not too clever, having been in smaller maxum open bows. I was amazed at how sturdy it was and how well it went through a chop with minimal fuss. Not sure about the 2300, but the 2400 sc I’m on quite often, has a stepped hull. It has a 350 mag mpi and bravo 3. 26” props. What a machine it is. Doesn’t matter what or who you have onboard and where they sit. It is on the plane like a rocket ship. It will top out at a genuine 50 mph gps and is most efficient cruising at around 24-27 mph and under 3000 rpm easily.

As said I’m not sure if the 2300 has a stepped hull like the 2400 I’m most often on. But I’ve been on a 2300 sc with a 5.0 efi (recently replaced with this). I think the prop could be better suited, but it’s literally a different machine from the 2400 with the 350 mag mpi. Felt a bit laboured compared to that. It’s probably fine to be fair. Just that I’m used to the performance of my own boat these days. Often takes a fair bit to impress me...but the 2400sc and mag mpi certainly did.
