what lube in 290a dp?

hey guys. can I use 75/140 gear lube in a 290 a dp? work at a ford dealer and have a tone of it. if not what weight lube??

synthetic 75/w90 marine lube

unless your boating in really warm water, the 75/140 would be a bit thick. and the automotive stuff doesnt like water.

in the 270/280/290 series i do believe you are suppose to use the same oil that is ran in the motor, I run 10W40 in my 280.
