The boat is a starcraft tri hull 14' open deck design with a center console. Im running an '85 Mariner 30 hp on it, the max hp is 40 for the boat. The boat planes out instantly, and gets to the cruising speed in a few seconds, (25 mph Wide open).

It has a lot of low end power, would a prop change make my top end faster? The boat flys out of the hole and up to speed.

Im not sure whats on there now 15x7.5 rings a bell? I will check tommorow and post it, but until then does it sound like a prop change is a good choice for more top end?
-John

You can get a 12 pitch prop for your motor but will decrease your WOT RPMs. See www.miwheel.com

What do the numbers represent? Say it says 9 7/8 x 10 1/2 F

9 7/8 is the what? Pitch?

10 1/2 is the? diam of the blade?

Also what will I gain by running a 12 pitch prop, what will it do for the performance? Thanks for the help.
-John
