What kind of gas mileage does a waverunner get?

As much as I despise them, I'm considering getting a waverunner for when I want to go by myself, rather than my 16' Glastron. One of the main reasons is gas...my boat gets about 2mpg. What kind of mileage will a waverunner get? Surely it has to be better than a big old boat...

depnds how you ride it ...i think i had 7-8 galon tank in my 700 yamaha that was enough for the whole weekned ..i would say around 6 hours of riding time how many mpg no idea <br /><br />Dom

They vary between 5-6 MPG and 2-3 MPG, assuming a 1/3 throttle cruise on a full tank. WOT reduces that by 1/2+
