What is vintage?

I have a 85 HP Chrysler model number 8571 serial 2626.

I believe this is an earlier model. Does anyone know anything about this outboard or what it is worth?

thats a 1969 model year.

Probably only of value to someone that has a matching vintage Chrysler boat, and even then, only a couple hundred dollars.

If it runs, use it.
