Pulled of my lower unit yesterday for some maintenance and found this on the ground underneath. Anyone have a guess as to what it is?

There is no shearpin on a 1989 model 150 HP motor !

It’s metal, with a textured black paint. ?
I did pull the prop off as well.

Nothing I've seen from the lower unit.
