What is this sensor? and wires?

2001 Yamaha lz150 hpdi

The sensor is located on the top side of the starboard head and the wires are not connected to anything.... What is it???

Heavy gauge Red Wire (capped)

Group of wires - Solid Orange- Solid Pink- Solid Red (Port side lower)
