I have a 70hp Nissan NS70A

This is the picture of the connector piece still on the bottom carb

And this is the part of the carb the connector piece goes onto (the connector piece was cracked and broke off fairly easily)

I've never seen something like this and haven't a clue to where to even find one?! I have a feeling this is going to be a difficult find...

It's unfortunately not available separately, so you will need to make one, or find something similar. The brass inner section is pressed into the carb. Eventually, after several decades, the plastic hose barb can dry out and fail.

If the brass part is missing the 90 degree plastic elbow, you can take a couple flat bladed screwdrivers and wedge the brass out. Then you can locate something that will fit the same way and make a fitting. Even try a machine shop to make one. It doesn't have to be plastic, it can be anything material that fits, seals and allows fuel flow.

If I were doing it, I would even think about threading the hole and using some brass fitting to replace that old press fitted one. JMHO

That's a bummer!

Thats a great idea! I think I may venture to try that. I was thinking of throwing the hose on anyway and clamping it down tight although I feel it wont make a good seal with the rigid edges on it. But if I shave it down like you are suggesting maybe it will work! I think I'll try that first and inspect for leaks.
