What is this part for? Weekender 215 plz help

Hey everyone I`m new here and I need a small help from you I got question regarding this part below:

First of all my boat is Sea Ray 215 Weekender and I don`t have any clue what this part above (link) might be for and where should I mount it... There are two knobs like that. What are these?
Recently my boat was in service and they gave me these parts saying that are from my boat from seats...
Please help if anyone can recognize it...

I agree, looks like what was on my 1987 SeaRay Seville.
