What is this boat

I saw a boat at the lake the other day. You sit on it with your legs out in front of you, it had like a joystick to steer with. Any clue as to what it was? THX!

I recently joined myself and the members here are priceless with their experience/knowledge. But, the information you gave is for trying to identify a boat is not enough!

Yes, it is hard to describe. It does not look like any boat Ihave ever seen. I think i saw an artice in a magazine about it years ago, It seats 2 people, it is just long enought to sit on with your legs out in front of you. The motor is directly behind you, a regular outboard I think. Between the 2 people is like a joystick that sterrs it....

My wifes aunt and her husband have one of these boats. I don't know what the real name for it is, or who makes it. They call theirs "The Flying Saucer"

If the "hull" consists of two separate units connected by the "deck", it probably is a CraigCat.

In the picture the woman looks like she is hanging on for dear life but, trying to pretend she is relaxed.

I think it looks scary. I'll stick to my old, underpowered , that you set down low in boat, thank you.

I do not think beer would do in that boat. A quart Thermos bottle full of ice cold vodka would work much better, and faster. A Martini is the shortest distance between two points. That would make up for the lack of speed.
