What is the Std. Diamater & Pitch

I have a 1970 Evinrude 40 hp outboard. Lark X <br />Model # 40053a serial# E01773 The prop I got has no dia & pitch stamped on it anywhere. I would like to buy a spare prop for it. but don't know dia & pitch to order.Is there a site stats on my motor from factory.

The propeller supplied with the motor when new from factory was a 10 1/2 x 12. There is a long list of alternate props for this motor depending on application. Take your prop with to the prop shop, they will match right up for you.

Thanks / What are the advantages of smaller or larger pitch. and does diameter effect anything?
