What is the over-all length of a Mercruiser alignment tool?

Thanks to all for the help on making my own alignment tool.<br /><br />It's almost done, and I need to do a few finishing touches. THe website that I was refered to had a nice drawing on how to modify an existing tool for the newest drives, but it didn't give an OAL (overall length)<br /><br />Can someone who has one give a quick measurement?<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />H.

Make the handle end as long as you like.Mercs are way too short.
