Thanks Paul. It looks like everything is still there for the original Win 98. So I'll F8 to DOS and delete Windows.000 (SE) <br />Seems like later versions of windows will let you F? something to choose which operating system to boot to, but I don't think that exists with the 98's

deltree will delete the folder and all subfolders and files won't it?<br /><br />I have always used just del<br /><br />i.e.<br /><br />C:\del delete.me<br /><br />where delete.me is the file name and extension to delete only one file at a time.<br /><br />AK Chappy

Boomyal<br />If yop do they upgrade thing, when it asks what directory to put the files in it will have something like "windows.000" if you want only one windows directory remove the ".000" from it!<br />Richard<br />Good luck
