Hello all,

Pardon this stupid question. But it's my first boat and old .
I have a 1991 Sunbird Barletta 208. It has a switch which says ACC on the tom and has a + sign on the bottom.
What is it for ?
The last owner did some handy man wiring too it that I would like to fix.

Thanks,
T

It could be for allmost anything mine turns on the depth finder :)

The sterndrive package will have a standard wireing diagram BUT the rest of the boat will be see what the switch does

It's a simple on/off switch. 12V goes on the "+" terminal and the positive lead for whatever you want to turn on and off (bilge pump, lights, etc.) goes to the ACC terminal.

Re: what is the ACC / + switch

Hi, Rocky - welcome to iboats! My factory package came with 2 switches labeled just like yours & were not connected to anything - they were for future hook-up of any 12V accessory you wanted to add later. I used one for my depth finder like tommays & the other is still unused. Hopefully your switches for bilge pump, blower, nav lights, etc (factory-installed stuff) came already labeled for those.
