Par is defined as the estimated standard score for a hole. Based on the length of the hole and the number of strokes needed by a first class player, in normal conditions, to complete the hole.

A course may be defined as one of the following:

1. A planned route
2. An area where golf is played
3. A period of education

Unless you spell it "coarse" in which case it may be used thus:

1. Rowdy, loud, obnoxious
2. Rough
3. Related to hunting, in particular, fishing.

St Andrew's Royal & Ancient golf club in Fife, Scotland is generally assumed to be the home of golf. The rules of golf are dictated and laid down by a committee meeting at that club.
In actual fact there is some evidence that the French claim to have invented golf.

Hyroglyphs found in the Egyptian Pyramids show that golf was played in Ancient Egypt although it was not at all popular due to the large number of bunkers. A relief in Tutankamun's tomb shows the young pharoah whacking a high priest with a sand wedge in frustration at losing a match due to becoming trapped in bunker 103 on the nine hole course at Thebes.

The term golf is generally accepted to be an acronym meaning "Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden".

Golf spoils a good walk.

:D ;) :p

Is that all you have? Also, we have been elevated in case you didn't notice. A lot of boats are under the dock. ;)
I don't need a diagram. I can follow instructions, even thinly veiled ones. :p :p

Hell, I'd vote for Techno over the terminator anyday... Remember the last time an Austrian immigrant got in power? :snigger: :p

Matron I do believe that we need to review Mrs Techno??????'s medication. The conundrum is that I am not sure which way we should go.....250mg IV Diazepam may not be sufficient in this particular case. I do believe however that we should definitely withdraw the SSRI (read: Prozac or similar) therapy immediately.
Physical therapy should be commenced and I recommend several weeks of "strait jacket therapy". In fact any therapy that disallows the use of a keyboard may be of benefit to the human race :D
Either that or just swat repeatedly with a pointy stick ;) :p

We could show you where to insert the plug: this would stop your boats being under the dock although I suspect that this thread should now be moved to "Medical Matters: Mental Health Issues" :D :D :D
