Re: What is it

The info you are after should be on the title and/or registration papers. The seller does have clear title and the boat is legally registered in your state - right?

And don't forget the trailer, too, if your state requires title and registrations for trailers. A big headache to register/title a trailer without correct paperwork... will spoil all your newly-bought-boat-excitement.

Funny, if you look at Blackwell Boatworks the website says they were established in 1988. BLACKWELL BOATWORKS Maybe a previous incarnation of company went of business and the name was revived in 1988.

Re: What is it

I've been searching online and nothing not even NADA has my boat listed
In my state it the hull ID is not visible I can title it as home made
Should I just fiberglass over the hull ID and title it that way
I mean I have already removed some seats and I'm adding a live well and other storage compartments so all on all it will be semi hone made

Re: What is it

Paper work is in the works but like I said I can always title it as home made because in all seriousness who is going to buy this boat from me in the future they'd be like its a what? It's the same thing I did w my awachita boat and trailer titles as homemade takes months but hey I have time
But I also fired her up and if its only good for parts I'm still happy I paid $275 for boat and trailer it's a win win no matter what
