Thats stock. You have 6 carb bodys. The upper throttle bodys are two sets of two and the bottom are two sets of one.

Good luck!

Hi Nuklhed,
Your motor is a 90 degree V-6, meaning that the port and starboard banks of cylinders are set up at a 90 degree angle to the centerline of the crankshaft.
A cross flow is the traditional style of fuel delivery with the fuel literally going across the combustion chamber from the intake ports and out the exhaust ports after burning. On your motor the fuel would come in the outer sides of the cylinders and exhaust out the center-rear of the motor between the cylinder banks.
A looper makes use of a fairly sophisticated fuel delivery system that draws fuel in from several areas around the piston and "loops" it so they meet in one place - under the plug and are then exhausted out the exhaust port, also located in the center rear. Loopers tend to be a good bit more fuel efficient than a cross-flow and can make more power from fewer cubic inches.
- Scott
- Scott

Re: WHAT IS IT?

Your carbs are in the right place and all stock as produced. Look in your service or better yet a parts manual and you will understand how they go. It's really a very simple set up. Something to remember -- the starboard carbs feed the port cylinders and vise versa.

If you are going to clean the carbs make sure you get the right kit for your carb bodys. The XP/GT models came out with larger carbs and throttle bodys but some were changed under warranty especially on bass boats. There should be numbers in the side plates. Pay attention to the idle air and mid range jets to assure they get back in the correct place.

Good luck!
