What is it worth?

1995 or maybe 94 Yamaha 4 stroke, 9.9 HP. Got a friend who has one and I am trying to get him to sell it to me but he don't know what it is worth. I think he said it had both cable and tiller controls, electric start and it's a 20incher. Thanks, Kurt

I dont know what the NADA is, but from watching these on ebay a while back it prob would sell for 1200-1500. I noticed a few that didnt sell when they asked for up to 1800, too close to the brand new price you know, why not just buy new at that price. I bought mine, I think its '93, from friend for $600, in like new condition, not even broke in yet, never really run. I could turn around and sell it for at least $1000 IF I wanted, which I dont, I love it. The downside is that with the highthrust design, you dont need 10hp, it doesnt push a boat any faster full throttle than at about 1/2 throttle. The 8hp high thrust is easily adequate, and lighter wt.
