What is a Redirect and where did it go???

I posted just a couple of days ago and when I went back to check it, it said "redirect". Just would like to know where it went so I could look at it. When I clicked the "redirect" it went to the main forum page which gave me no idea of where to look for it.

Any help would be apprecitaed

IMHO, a redirect should point to where it went.
