I answered an add on a pair of Yamaha 650 Waverunners with galvanized trailer. Both have salt and freshwater use, one can be started and one can not but both are supposed to run good. Non current tags on the trailer and skis. What is the ballpark value? I am looking to buy a pair for guests to ride at the bay, do not need anything too fast. Any info good or bad on this model Waverunner would be great. Thanks, Kevin

they are only 42 hp engines, so it's good you don't want to go fast, I personally would consider the non running ski a parts ski and the so-called running one worth 4 or 5 hundred and if the trailer is good it's worth 4 or 5 hundred the book lists the skies with a trailer at 1000,each, the last one I picked up I paid 300 with the trailer, depending on the shape of the skies I would try to be around 1000 to 1200 for the entire thing, with all titles etc less if the engines won't turn, usually the pumps get locked up from corrosion when they sit for a long time and people think the engines are bad so they sell them really cheap.

You mention a book, Is there somewhere online I can check the values of Jet skis in the future? Thanks for the input, Kevin

I did not know it went back that far, I will check it out. Is top end replacement a common maintenance item on these like on 2 stroke motorcycles? What would it cost to do the top end on one of these?

those usually last forever, water cooled 2 strokes are different than air cooled m/c engines.
