Ok, heres the plan:<br />I plan to run two batteries (one crank, one deep) with a switch. I want a built in charger so that when I tow the boat back to my house, I can just run an extension cord and plug it in, then leave it that way untill the next time I take the boat out. I am not worried about having a fast charger, just one that treats the batteries right. Please share your recommendations, they are apprechiated.

Do a search for BatteryMinder in the Search at the top of the page. I have one and like it so far.

I highly recommend a Truecharge charger (made by Xantrex now). Probably the TC-10 for your boat. I lived aboard for 3 years and blew up 3 chargers before I got a TC-40. Took perfect care of my batts and stands up very well. Full 4-stage charging with a rest mode for storage.
