What I did on Summer Vacation -- Alaska Whales

Took the Trophy out yesterday just to cruise and sightsee. Admiralty Island's Barlow Cove was the scenic destination just because it is calm and peaceful. We cut the engine and drifted and just listened to this guy....

And also passed this pod of 5-7 Humpbacks on the way across Stephen's Passage too...

Of course, that was after some earlier trips to lay in these guys ...

Went out again tonight to go whale watching with some friends. Saw a pod of 5 Humpbacks bubble-feeding. Watched them for 1-1/2 hrs, just drifting with the engine off. Man, it's good to have a boat again up here!

More whales back in Barlow Cove tonight for a cruise after work....
