Looking to by a new small kicker, what would be a good HP for a fiberglass 15'5" boat? Is the Tohatsu a dependable trolling motor? I know nothing about them. Thanks.
If the boat has a USCG placard, that will tell you the maximum hp. The 2-cylinder motors are smoother than the 1-cylinder motors. Do you want electric start? Remote throttle and shift? Yes, the Tohatsu motors are as good as any, better than many.
