This morning when I turned on my laptop it was downloading FireFox updates. Since that time my FF home page, which had a Google search box, is no longer active. It had the big FireFox world logo in the middle of the page and the search box below it. Now you type something into the box and hit enter, nothing happens. Why can't these idiots leave well enough alone.
Another thing is, I hate Tabs, I do not use them. I always right click on links and open a new window. Now when I right click, I am given one choice. That is to open a new window in 'private browsing'. That option was there before but it was accompanied by an option to simply 'open in new window'. I have long had privacy setting that would not show history but now every window I open shows (private browsing)
What is going on? I still have the google search function to the right of the url address line but I want it back in the middle of my FireFox home page.
