What ever happened to Glastron-Carlson

I've just the last 30 minutes looking at that line of boat, to this day they are striking and beautirful............ anyone know what happened or why know one pickuped there old styling..........

Evolution. Not sure about right now, but they made a model back in the mid 90s.

i'm hip, very stylish boats to be sure. that's what i wanted to be lookin at last fall when i was looking to buy a boat. found one too...... but the sweety wouldn't have none of that. man did i get an earfull of why that wasn't what i wanted........them glastron carlsons are my idea of a speedboat. her idea was my aristocraft that i ended up gettin. oh well. im on the water either way i guess.....:)

guess i'd have to agree with ww. evolution. to me, they just don't make as cool of designs today as they did yesterday....guess i must be gettin old...er.......

Well maybe im getting old but id say those 30 year old design's are timeless beauty..........8)

Yep...this was our 1976 160 with 150 Merc "tower of power" I've yet to ride in another 16' that can handle the waves like this one!

Thanks for that linc. I had one of the 1968 little ones, (rated for 85HP). I put my 1250 short shaft with PT and did it haul a........!!!! Very cool, wish I still had it. JR
