Please note that the PICTURE UPLOAD function is not working. The iBoats Forum Moderators are working with the system administration folks at the parent company to get the issue resolved. This happened about a year ago and here we are again. In the meantime you can post photos as links to a picture hosting site of your choice. We are sorry about the inconvenience and will advise when the issue is resolved. Thank you for your patience.
I actually found that site before but hadn't seen the pictures of the drive itself. Doesn't make a lot of sense, but if the videos on the site are accurate, steering is a strong point . . .
Website gives a lot of "whats" but not a lot of "whys & hows". If it's anything like the auto products the UK has come up with, prepare to spend - both $ and time in the shop!
I watched all the videos. Not exactly sure what they were trying to show me. Looked like any other commonly powered boats skimming along the water. What's the big deal?
Read the marketing stuff on the website. Claims better efficiency and says the boat will run faster with the same amount of horsepower and no chance of water seepage into the drive, etc.
