Happy new year to all. I went to start my FIL's boat yesterday and the batteries were weak/dead. When I turned th key to the "start" position the buzzer sounded and remained on as long as the key was in the "on" position. The alarm didn't sound until I turned the key to the "start" position. The motor (1997 Yamaha S225TXRV) tried to turn over but was very weak (about 9.4 or so volts while it was cranking). The water temps are in the upper 30's and the motor hasn't been started in a week. What does this alarm signify? I haven't had a chance to get back down and charge the batteries yet.

Basically, it says the voltage is low on the sensors. Charge the batterys and you should clear the problem.
