What Do You Think New motor

We just repowered my grandpa's boat with a remanufactured 383 MPI 325 hp engine. We went out today and my friend made this video pretty cool it maxes out a 40mph. The boat is a 1986 Formula 25 PC cruiser. The old engine was a 5.7 liter 260 hp carburated engine it could barely plane the boat. The new engine has bravo one drive with ss 19 pitch prop. Just thought I share this thinking that some people on this forum. Well tell me what you think. Never leave the dock with out em you never know what could happen. Next weekend I have to clean out the porty pottie who knows what kind of surprises i'll find. The I have to fix the bimini and put a new trim tab motor in and I should be all set.

they price you pay to use Grandpa's boat. bet you have forgot all about your tinny, and the motors that need to get running. thats a big boat for a trolling motor.

Sorry to post again but like I said the boat does need a new trim tab motor. The trim tabs are made by bennett trim tabs. I don't if all bennett trimtabs share the same hydrolic motor but if they do where can I get and are there andy off brands that I can get. If there are any on this site please tell I would like to support Iboats this forum has been great.

baconbiscut and bassboy1 are 2 of your teenage members, both have gotten the boating certificates. i converse with both on a regular basis, and am totally amazed at the knowledge of boating these 2 young men have. they are going to be a great asset to the forums, for many years to come. they also have realized there education comes first.
