I have an 15' Tri-hull and I would like to convert it to a small center console boat for use with my larger boat. It would be great for sightseeing trips, fishing, and dingy when the big boat is at anchor. I will use the boat on the coast in protected waters and the seating is too low to the water for me. I have a winch and can store it atop my aft cabin or tow it depending on sea and weather conditions. Can anyone forsee any draw backs to making the changes? I envision loosing the windshield and adding grabrails on the gunnels. Can you add other ideas? It has a 1973 65hp Evinrude and since I already own the boat...the price is right.
