I'm thinking about buying one of these, but can't find too much information on this particular model. Here is what I know:

outboard sports-fisherman, 20.6 feet long, weighs 2030 pounds, beam 96", powered by a 1991 Mercury 150.

I have not seen this boat in person yet, but the seller assures me it's worth more than the $4500 he's selling it for.

Has anyone ever owned one of these? What is the general consensus of the Glastron outboards? Aside from the transom and floors, what other "hidden items" should I be looking for?

Thanks

21 year old boat,18 year old motor. $4,500 do not equal out. in a good market, much less this market.

Of course the seller assures you that it is worth $4,500.00. His goal is to move as much money as he can pry out of wallet and move it to his. That rig, with trailer, would top out at around $2,500.00 in my book.

As to the Glastron - we had a 19' 6" Glastron that ran our family around Biscayne Bay and the Fl Keys for 14 years. I repowered once and did the floor/stringers once. Kinda wish we still had it sometimes.
