$12.40 Dist chg
Usage .0359/ Kwh

Industrial users get really hammered. They pay a "peak demand" rate which is their highest usage during any half hour period, and then pay that amount as if that was their usage 24 hours a day.

$492.00-avg./month, at the old house. That was running a pool pump-1/2 HP., 12 hours per day-with A/C added.

New house is about 1/2 that. No pool, better insulated, same square feet, now with dual A/C units.

I never broke it down to KW hours. Afraid to.

Our's is so screwed up... in September they estimated the bill... don't know why. In October, they read the meter. So, my bill for September was $169. Just got October's bill... $245! and we were gone a week from September 27th to the 1st! $#%%$*^*$#
