We moved to Mississippi from Weslaco, Tx (job related) and the memories of Texas and the lower Rio Grande Valley are fond. The Laguna Madre' has some of the best fishing I've found. I worked with the broadcast television stations in your fair city and Corpus is a beautiful place. The Mississippi Gulf Coast is a great place to live, but South Texas is at the top of the list.<br />Bill......

Yea byordy,By and large it's a pretty decent community and mix of people down here.Grass always seems greener on the other side,but Corpus like lots of other places, offers a lot to do if a person seeks it out.The wind takes some getting use to but that's part of living on the Gulf coast.If you got hair,don't leave home without your comb or a hat.
